Yesterday we received the news that Phoenicia didn't make it into the semi-finals of the Global Learning XPRIZE. While we are sad to not be continuing on here, we know that Phoenicia still has the potential to make a positive change for the world's children.
We developed Phoenicia as an open source project from the very beginning. We felt this was in the true spirit of the contest, and we welcomed input and contributions from anybody. Until now we have been using the Github repository provided by the XPRIZE Foundation for hosting our code, but with our change in status we've taken the step of creating a new repository to support the future development of Phoenicia.
If you've followed our past development, or are interested in participating in the future of Phoenicia, we invite you all to join us at https://github.com/Linguaculturalists/Phoenicia and together we can bring literacy to children in their own language and their own culture, all over the globe.
