Jono, I am stoked to be a part of this. As an engine, and a father that home schools I have some experience. We have used a parenting method we call "Expose and Observe" and all of our kids were really reading by three. We got locked into the home school track because the kids were ready for school WAY before the system would have them. That turned out to be the best thing anyway!
As for me, I build sustainable food systems around a program (that I think will be a GREAT X-Prize challenge) called "Technology meets Permaculture - Zero Waste Agriculture". I built the first farm based biomethane to pipeline facility in North America. I also run an Agricultural Venture Accelerator Program in BC, and am part of the National Industrial Symbiosis Program (NISP Canada), which drives value by eliminating waste.
